Privacy

How we handle information.

Norse Pantheon Productions is the data controller for the information described in this notice. This page explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Anonymous website statistics

We use first-party, privacy-preserving statistics solely to understand how this website is used and improve it. When a page loads, its path and a broad source category—direct, another page on this site, search, social media or another referral—are added immediately to a daily total.

New analytics records contain no visitor or session identifier, query string, exact visit time, IP address, user-agent string or device profile. They cannot be used to follow somebody across pages, websites or devices. Aggregate totals are retained for up to 24 months.

Between 4 and 6 August 2026, the previous analytics design recorded a random identifier lasting for one browser tab alongside the page path, referring hostname and exact visit time. It did not store IP addresses or user-agent strings. That design is no longer used; any remaining legacy records expire automatically within 180 days of collection and are not used to identify visitors.

We rely on the statistical-purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Where transient request information is personal data, our UK GDPR basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website without identifying its visitors.

Your analytics choice

Checking this device’s analytics preference…

Your choice is saved only on this device. The preference itself uses browser storage so the site can remember and respect your objection. We also honour Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” browser signals.

Enquiries and correspondence

The enquiry form validates information in your browser, then sends the name, email address, organisation and message you provide to a same-origin Cloudflare function. When direct delivery is available, Cloudflare relays the message to our Google Workspace inbox. The website does not write enquiry content to a database or browser storage. If direct delivery is unavailable, the page opens a prepared message in your own email application instead.

When you submit the form or choose to email us directly, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, organisation, project requirements and any attachments. We use it to answer your enquiry, take steps you request before entering a contract, deliver agreed work and maintain appropriate business records.

Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in managing genuine business correspondence. Ordinary enquiries are normally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Client, transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where required for legal, tax or contractual purposes.

Private proposal links

If we send you a private proposal link, selecting its clearly labelled “View proposal” button records the proposal code and the time the button was selected. This helps us know that the proposal was opened. We do not store the visitor’s IP address or user agent for this purpose, and we do not use cookies or browser identifiers. Proposal-open records expire after 180 days.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website, processes the technical requests needed to deliver it and receives submitted enquiry-form content to attempt delivery. Google processes our business email. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used by the site, so a visitor’s browser may make a technical request to Google to retrieve those font files.

These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the provider’s applicable UK data-transfer safeguards and contractual protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioural advertising.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your personal data; restrict or object to its use; and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it. These rights are not absolute, but we will explain if an exemption applies.

To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email [email protected]. We may need enough information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.

Security and changes to this notice

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

We will update this notice when our services or handling practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
